Hi! I’m Lily, a former 1st grade dual language teacher.
I know exactly how overwhelming it can feel to constantly search for high-quality bilingual resources. I used to spend countless hours outside of my contract time creating lessons and materials because what I found online or in my district’s curriculum just didn’t meet my students’ needs.
Many of the “bilingual” resources available were simply translations and not thoughtfully designed for a true dual language classroom. With such a diverse range of abilities in my classroom, I needed more than just translations. I needed resources that supported language development, honored both languages, and actually engaged my students.
I was exhausted. Burnt out. Frustrated.
That’s when I decided to stop settling and start building.
